Over the last year I’ve gotten to know Carly quite well with my work at Uniquities. When she asked if I would take some photos for her wedding anniversary.

They snuggled up at the Umstead under some of Carly’s amazing handmade blankets, played in the leaves, and explored some fallen trees.

The Umstead is one of my favorite places for fall shoots and I had totally missed shooting there for awhile. This whole fall season has been so busy that it was nice to have a few minutes to catch up with a friend, meet her husband, and have some fun.
