You might recognize Tess and Matt from when they attended Nicole and Dean’s wedding last fall.

After having worked with her, she reached out for me to capture her own wedding this fall at the Cookery in Durham. These two are always down for a good time and it’s apparent in all their photos. They went the traditional route, waiting til they walked down the aisle before seeing each other, which resulted in Matt shedding a few tears.

Since her mother passed away before the wedding Tess wanted to incorporate lots of memento to honor her, including forgoing favors by making a donation to the American Cancer Society, she wore a charm from her Disney bracelet, and included tons of roosters throughout the ceremony and reception decor.

Many family members and friends gave heartfelt toasts to these two who met while playing kickball, spend their free time roller blading together, and of course having the time of their lives daily. They ended the night in a shower of lavender before heading onto a party bus to make the most of the night ahead.
