Lisa & Myles - Asheville Elopement
This year I have had a crazy amount of Asheville Elopements, but only a handful actually made it out of the parkway.
So what happens when the parkway is closed and you’re visiting from Florida?
You explore Downtown Asheville and take some badass photos.
When I visit Asheville, I typically spend most of my time in West Asheville. All my friends live there, it has some of the best dives and restaurants, and it is a more authentic Asheville experience. And of course Fleetwoods “Get Married” sign is always a great backdrop for photos. (And yes you can actually get married inside there and I highly suggest someone do one day! - Theres a coffin inside for a badass photo op I’m waiting for someone to take advantage of)
Lisa is definitely one of the sweetest, most genuine people I have had the pleasure of working with, she even gave me a little camera Christmas ornament for my tree and I legit cried yall and I never do that, so needless to say I was thrilled when she decided to elope in Asheville.
After exploring we made our way to the Buncombe County courthouse (which is one of the most gorgeous courthouses I’ve ever been to) they tied the knot, then we took a few more photos outside. Even though their coverage had ended they invited me to their reception to enjoy a warm meal and get to know their guests, who were all super welcoming and fun!
Truly couldn’t have asked for a better elopement to end my season with.
