Every year the Dorthea Dix park sprouts giant sunflowers and I try to take advantage of it - but this year the sunflowers didn’t grow as great as expected thanks to global warming but that didn’t stop us from having a great time in the field.

We took these photos to celebrate her daughter’s eleventh birthday. We frolicked in the wild flower fields more than the sunflowers but we still had a great time, celebrated her birthday, and got some amazing photos for them to share with friends and family.
