Jess & Kiran - Claxton Farm Wedding

Two things I love most about weddings:

When there are animals involved & when there is a blending of families and cultures and boy does this wedding have both!

First let’s chat about how these two never stopped smiling the entire day. Their love and positive energy radiated onto everyone they know, and it was apparent in the multitude of speeches and kind words everyone had to say about them.

They also shared personal vows that included how they would continue to travel and explore the world together, push each other to become better people, and embrace the other’s comfort zones even if it is a little bit outside their own.

Jess & Kiran were married at Claxton Farm (which if you’ve been following me for awhile know this is where I shot many moons ago in a wheelchair) but this time I had both legs working and got to explore the entire grounds.

We got to play with Chocolate Chip - the adorable and quite hungry llama you will see in these photos, as well as their dog. Even though it was still the middle of summer there was a nice breeze on the mountain that made it feel nice and cool.

One of my favorite elements was the abundance of flowers through the wedding and reception hall. Another fun fact is all their table settings were concerts they had been together, needless to say these two are a fan of live music. Instead of cake they had an ice cream bar for guests (and there was even a dairy free flavor - SCORE)
