I met May a few years ago when she was first starting her photography journey. We sat down for a cup of coffee at Sir Walter Raleigh Coffee and chatted about all the basics of starting a photography business. With North Carolina growning rapidly I truly beleive there is no such thing as competition when it comes to the arts. There is a meidum out there for everyone, and we are all different and attract a different set of clientele. Well fast forward a year, and May had reached out for me to capture her family photos. I got to know her close family, and take some portraits for them for the holidays. It was a gift for her mother and I was so happy to be able to make her genuinely smile (as both her daughters allowed as many hugs as she wanted)
