Let’s talk to the Power of Instagram, I met Erin through Instagram via her foodie profile Every Last Bite and after she signed up for one of my Coven shoots last year we got to know each other a little better, running into each other at one of the local bars in Downtown Raleigh. I had always been obsessed with the Gables Motel in downtown Raleigh, but after watching Schitt’s Creek I wished even more that someone would revitalize it. But even though in 2018 there was talks of it getting a makeover, by the looks of it now, it seems that idea may have been scraped. With overgrown trees covering the sign you can barely see it from the road. Luckily Erin and Bret actually live within a 1 minute walk of this gorgeous relic and volunteered to take some photos out in front of it.
