Jacquline and Scott knew they wanted a destination wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They had planned it for years and it was the only place they wanted to say I Do. We woke up before the sunrise and climbed a mountain for the perfect sunrise (and trust me I don’t wake up that early for that many people but these two totally deserve it ). After taking a few photos we met their family down the mountain at a local park where we had a completely permitted elopement. They brought some of their favorite breakfast foods and snacks for the occasion as they legally blended their families together. Her bouquet was made of wooden flowers as to not expose any floral to the area, and we stayed on all paths and trails. These two definitely believe in embracing nature without damaging it in true Leave No Trace fashion.
