When Dyesha reached out to me to capture her Downtown Durham engagement session the thing that caught my attention the most from her inquiry was the fact she found me on Pinterest! I’ve had an insane Pinterest following for years, (seriously one of the perks of getting in on a social platform on the early stages) but besides requests for the Outer Banks which I get and deny on the daily I’ve never had much success booking from Pinterest. But Dyesha had seen Latoya and Jordan’s Downtown Durham Engagement Session and wanted to recreate her own version with her fiance Joanthan.

To embody the European vibes of Durham, we went to the Historic Post Office, frolicked in some alley ways and walked down cobblestone streets (definitely a struggle sometimes with heels) But this was such a fun session and I channeled some of the artistic elements I seen from European photographers I follow on Instagram.
