Foggy Lake Crabtree Engagement with Sarah & Josh
I’ll bet the first thing you noticed from this shoot were the two adorable schnauzers, Madison and Louis. (Sorry Josh and Sarah, but it’s the truth…)
Not only were the two dogs the best models during this foggy engagement shoot, but they were also the reason that Josh and Sarah met online! Seeing that the other featured their schnauzer in their profile picture and vice versa, the two decided to embark on a relationship that’s been filled with non-stop dog love, adventures in the outdoors, cooking and enjoying their delicious masterpieces, and binge-watching Bridgerton.
Believe it or not, Lake Crabtree was not the original background they had hoped to have their engagement shoot. But due to a Christmas Parade in the new Cary Park, we all had to quickly pivot and come up with a new place. But truthfully, Lake Crabtree did not disappoint and the moody fog only created a more serene and beautiful backdrop!
But there is one thing that this couple loves doing and I was more than happy to capture the moment. Sarah and Josh have a love for trying doughnuts everywhere they go. It was lots of fun helping them capture their love for the sugary treat and helping them practice feeding one another like they’ll be doing with cake at their wedding this Spring.
Speaking of their wedding… I’m so excited to be working with them again and capturing their special moments on their wedding day. As a sneak peek of whats to come, expect lots of jewel tones, rustic elements, and you guessed it lots and lots of sweet desserts!!! As this will be their first party that they host as husband and wife, they just want to make sure that their big day is just a good time with the people they love, celebrating their very special love.
