Spooky, Ghost Anniversary Session in Raleigh with Erin & Bret
Bret & Erin reached out to me to take their anniversary photos and one of the must haves they wanted captured were: ghosts! So on the day of the shoot, I quickly grabbed some sheets out of my costume closet and the evening we shared in the Raleigh cemetery was nothing short of memorable. (Peep the cameo I made at the end of the shoot!!!)
Bret is a teacher but also runs a true crime podcast that discusses North Carolina crimes called It Awaits You. and I highly suggest you giving it a listen. Erin is an amazing nurse and also runs a food blog called Every Last Bite, where she shares some amazing places to get food in the Triangle.
The most beautiful thing about cemeteries is that even though it’s a place where we put a loved one to rest, it can also b a place that is so full of life and love. In fact, as we were walking around the cemetery that night, someone came up to us and shared the history of the cemetery. They mentioned that their ancestors had even been married there.
The cemetery which is rich in history and artsy corners makes for a beautiful backdrop for photos and is a peaceful, calming scene for a couples shoot. And with fun additions like a couple of sheets from a costume closet, one can create and capture some new memories for any special occasion.
