Spontaneous Downtown Raleigh Elopement with Erica & Donte

Have you ever dreamt of exchanging your vows in a secret hideaway, away from the hustle and bustle of traditional wedding ceremonies? Eloping, the act of escaping the conventional wedding formalities, has become an increasingly popular trend in recent years. These intimate ceremonies, filled with love and spontaneity, offer a truly unique experience for couples seeking a memorable way to tie the knot.

Did you know that you don’t have to go to the courthouse to get eloped?

Intimate elopements can happen anywhere as long as you have an officiant and two witnesses. When Erica reached out to me about capturing her special day she knew that she didn’t want to be stuck in a courthouse.

I suggest a few parking decks that I know (where we wouldn’t get kicked out but I also warn people that could happen —- thanks photogs who don’t follow the rules) and we headed to the very top to capture their special moment.

These two have been together for a few years, making the move to Raleigh from Pittsburgh. They have a fur baby named Jerome and consider themselves to be huge foodies. These two were super stylish as we walked around the streets of downtown Raleigh, getting to know one another and them getting tons of compliments as we walked the busy downtown streets.
