Golden Hour Maternity at Lake Crabtree with Judith & Trey
I worked with Judith & Trey awhile back when I photographed their waffle house elopement!
It was such an honor when Judith contacted me to say they were expecting and that she wanted me to help take maternity photos for them. Becoming a mom is such a magical experience and having some portraits to document the beauty of your baby bump and the excitement as you begin your journey into parenthood is such a touching keepsake. Timing these photos can often be tricky, but I always suggest a time during your pregnancy when the bump is a little more prominent. There are so many ways that you can have these portraits taken too, whether they are in your nursery, in a field, or even outdoor at the lake like Judity & Trey. Regardless of where they are taken, I just love working with couples to help bring their maternity photo vision to life. Judity & Trey are expecting a baby girl, who they have decided to name Maggie. On the day of our lakeside maternity shoot, the lighting could not have been more perfect. Golden hour is every photographer’s favorite time of day, and although I normally love a good moody moment, these photos captured the essence of new parenthood in such a framing light. The couple was glowing and you can just feel the emotion and excitement in the photos below!
