To me it’s about vulnerability. The intimacy we feel towards ourselves, the intimacy we long to portray to others. I like to take creative risks with boudoir and allow clients to channel their inner selves.

Just like life, the way your body looks ebbs and flows. Capture the moment, remember it, and also, just like with harmful wedding/crash diets, there is 0 pressure to look any way other than yourself at boudoir photos. If you keep telling yourself to “Change” you’ll never find the right time. Also boudoir is a great way to honor your body as it is and remember all the amazing things it does for you.
“I’m not sexy.”
There is a common misconception that boudoirs are about sex. And that’s just not the case. They are about honoring your body, your inner goddess, and loving who you are. They don’t have to illicit “sexiness” but instead can be about softness, stillness, and sensuality.

First and foremost, boudoir photos are for yourself. I, myself try to take boudoir once a year, to see how I change, how my feelings about myself change, and to give myself a confidence boost. At the end of the day, boudoir is about your own self confidence and self worth, and I’m here to say, everyone who steps in front of my camera is giving 110% just by showing up.
