Summer Family Session at Joyner Park with Kaitie, Jared & Ava
I love a good family session and especially when it includes a furry friend. It is always a great day with lots of sunshine and the cutest little interactions of parents and their toddlers that brings a little joy to my day. Lots of times people will use the photos in their holiday cards. But most importantly, these special photos are a great way to capture growth and transitions in life. Looking back at the memories, you’ll be able to remember your little one playing with leaves on a bridge or getting her to smile as you threw her up in the air as you flip through the gallery. And then you’ll see how far you’ve come as a parent and how much they have grown up over the years and it is definitely a bittersweet keepsake.
Lots of families I work with also make it a tradition to have these photos taken every year to better capture the growth and I think that’s pretty awesome. It’s always magical to see how life changes and happens, because that’s the one thing that is so consistent for all of us: change. Life goes on, but it’s great to take a moment and fit all your loved ones in a frame to look back on in your later years.
