Cecily & Michael - Hillsborough Elopement at the Orange County Courthouse and Poets Walk at Ayr Mount

I know this wedding/elopement whatever you want to call it looks like it could have been captured in Spain or Paris but really this is Hillsborough, North Carolina (with a small dash of Chapel Hill in there)

Cecily and Michael (you might remember them from their epic Eno engagement session here) .

They got ready at The Siena Hotel in Chapel Hill and her bouquet was dried and flown in from the Netherlands. If that isn’t cool enough her amazing textured dress could be worn on or off shoulder, changing the vibe from romantic to steamy in an instant. These two shared a first look on the bridge on the Greenway in Hillsborough, before heading to the courthouse to make it official. Cecily knew that photographs were super important to her so we had an additional hour portrait session at Poets Walk on the Ayr Mount grounds. This charming historical site truly feels out of this country, it was if they were escaping to their own magical land.
