Coven 2020 - The Meadows Portrait Session

Every year I put together a Coven session for local witches and Halloween enthusiasts in the area. It's always a great time for people to come together and meet one another while celebrating the holiday. Also let's be honest everyone loves the sharing the photos from these sessions. (I’ve seen them on Pinterest, TikTok, and even This Witch Magazine) but these shoots aren’t just to honor Halloween, they are all about celebrating each other, badass women, and the changing of the season. While last year we decided to go Sabrina, this year we channeled our inner cottagecore, Midsommar aesthetic. All the girls wore white and channeled their inner 1600s ghost spirit. My favorite aspect of these shoots is the individuality that the girls bring, sometimes they bring their own props, or choose from the ones my mom and I source. This time all the girls came with their unique visions, from Alice in Wonderland, Psychics, Early white witches, huntresses, and even a warlock joined us this year.
