Big Dog Little Bed
I used to do different themed minis. And maybe I should bring them back! One of my favorites was when I had dog day minis for friends and couples who wanted a moment to showcase their fur babies and do a family photo shoot with them. And lots of owners will also ask me if I can incorporate their pets into our shoots and the answer is always YES YES YES!
I have definitely taken more dog pictures, I mean just check out this mini I did this past spring. But I always love when my couples want to include their pets in their engagement and wedding photos. Pets are such a big part of your every day life and including them adds a little fun and spontaneity to the moment! But more importantly is the fact that other than being very photogenic, having your beloved pet also can make you relax in front of the camera. You’re interacting with them and loving on them in all your usual ways and I’m just taking candid shots of these special moments. They can make you laugh at all the right moments and make you forget that there is even a camera in front of you!
But at the end of the day, the big reason I love when pets are included is because they are a part of your family. Even when you are adding a new little one to the family, your dog is still such a big part of that transition and story and so having a way to honor them is so important!
So like I said… maybe I should bring back the dog minis… but also big fan of chickens! (Check out the coolest maternity shoot I have ever done where Chickens made an apperance!)
