Andie & Family At Home Session With Dogs in Private Home in Durham

When Andie reached out for me to capture her family photos she specifically wanted me to know that she didn't have kids, but that she wanted photos taken with her dogs. Let me tell you, as a childless person myself DOGS ARE YOUR FAMILY. Every summer I actually host a Dog Days of Summer promotion which allows people to have photos taken with their dogs, something that is very important to me considering that I’ve been a dog mom for over 8 years now and I never got any good professional photos with my dog Thanos before he died. It still haunts me. So I tell people please please please get photos taken with your pups! They are basically your kiddos.

Andie invited me to her home in Durham, to capture the last of the changing leaves of the season to and capture these family photos for her. It was such a pleasure meeting her and her husband, as well as the greyhounds, which were spunky and full of energy.
