Downtown Raleigh Courthouse Wedding with Lily & Kyair

Would you believe this wedding was on Halloween? Typically I don’t work on my anniversary - (yes i got married on Halloween) but when Lily reached out - her inquiry was so fun and personable that I had to take it. (Plus it was a Monday and I had gotten my spooky ya-ya’s out on the weekend)

These two kept it classy and traditional for a spooky holiday. Taking a few photos with their pups, they headed over to the Wake County Courthouse to sign the paperwork and make their way to the 9th floor to make it official. Afterwards we walked around downtown, taking a few photos with their gorgeous daughter and then galavanting around the city. It was a surprisingly mild day for late October so we were able to take our time and have some fun. (Check those sunglasses)

We hit my absolute favorite rooftop in downtown to pop a bottle of bubbly (and inadvertently crash a senior session with a mustang). These are the types of weddings that I absolutely love capturing. I say if you can’t have some fun what’s the point right?
