Vin Rouge & The Durham Hotel Wedding with Lana & Josh

More and more of my clients are meeting on dating apps, and honestly I am here for it. In fact, I met my husband online too. Lana and Josh are a bumble success story. They met on Bumble a few years ago, and now have 2 dogs and a son. One of the things that most intrigued me about their wedding was the venue! They were getting married where they had their first date. It doesn’t get any more romantic than that.

Vin Rouge - Durham, NC

Vin Rouge is a farm to table French bistro in the heart of Durham. When you walk through the doors, you feel as if you’ve been transported to Southern France.

Lana and Josh started with a first look on the rooftop of the Durham Hotel. It was a very sweet moment between the two of them. After exchanging their first look, everyone headed to Vin Rouge for the ceremony and reception. Lana and Josh had a smaller wedding with less than 100 people, but it made it feel very intimate and romantic. The sweetest moment of the day was when Lana noticed that the same poster her late mother had gifted her in her childhood bedroom was in the restaurant and someone had placed a photo of her mother next to it, not knowing the significance of the poster. It was as if she was there blessing the union and celebrating the day with them.
