Cup a Joe & Nice Price Downtown Raleigh Engagement Photography with Megan and Anna
Where To Have Your Engagement Session in the Triangle:
I like to tell all my couples that choosing your engagement session doesn’t have to be this huge decision. But if you’re struggling to find the perfect place to have your engagement session in Raleigh-Durham I’ve made this list of things to think through:
Choose a place that opposite of where you’re getting married: if you’re getting married outdoors, why not have your engagement session feature industrial elements?
Recreate a first date! - Anna and Megan decided to do just that. These walks down memory lanes always get you more comfortable and remember those early days together.
Do an activity! Pottery sessions, board games, video games, cooking a. meal together: Some of my couples prefer to distract themselves from the fact that a photoshoot is happening so they choose to do an acitivity together. These sessions always create amazing images and you get to create a memory together.
Be comfortable. Don’t push yourself to do something that you wouldn’t normally do or that might make you feel uncomfortable. This is your time to celebrate each other! There are no expectations here.
Megan and Anna met in high school - but it wasn’t love at first site, it was more love at first dream. In school Anna had a dream that her and Megan were dating and that she was her soul mate. Fast forward a few years and they reconnected, started dating, and the rest was history. Megan proposed at the beach but they wanted to take their engagement photos at the site of one of their favorite places and first dates, Cup a Joe.
Coincidentally, my husband and I also had our first date there so I was happy to go there and snap some shots of the two of them. We also went over to Nice Price books before heading to the Rose Garden. I loved being able to capture this Raleigh Engagement session and I can’t wait to capture their wedding this spring at Fred Fletcher Park
