The Cookery Wedding in Downtown Durham - Olivia & Troy
The last time I saw Olivia and Troy was in October of 2019. I had just finished taking their engagement photos at their house and I was so pumped for their 2020 wedding. Little did we know an entire pandemic was going to put a damper on their plans.
But that didn’t stop them from having an amazing day at The Cookery, one of my favorite industrial wedding venues in Downtown Durham. Since I started my photography career I’ve shot quite a handful of weddings at The Cookery and I absolutely love it’s intimate space. Olivia and Troy knew they wanted to share this day with their favorite people, deciding to do all their portraits before the ceremony as to spend the most time with all their friends and family. Olivia shared a first look with her dad and step dad, who both shared intimate and touching speeches, her step dad even played a recording of Olivia singing at him and his mother’s wedding many moons ago.
The entire night was filled with laughter and dancing, and absolutely delicious food from Snappea.
